Healthy World Healthy Me topic
Class 1 pupils have been finding out how to help maintain a sustainable future for our planet and a healthy and happy life for themselves. Recognising a healthy diet and making healthy food has been covered this term ,as well as finding out about how to keep healthy through exercise. We have looked at climate change, reducing, reusing and recycling waste, saving water and electricity and endangered animals. The children have also had a litter pick in school, written letters to local supermarkets asking them to reduce their plastic waste and reused materials in art projects. We have made paper bags from old newspapers and art from plastic bottle tops. Look at our photos below and see if you can you guess what they are!
