Compass Directions

 

Can you remember the 4 compass directions?

We are going to practice them a little more today.

 

Look at the Pirate Paraphernalia map below.

 

 

Look at the map on p1. Can you give directions using compass directions to your parent and see if they can find the pirate's lost belongings? Always start from the dark blue square.

eg. say:

 

Move north 1, west 2 = ?

 

( the answer = pistol)
