Can your child remember what a verb is? It is a doing word. Can they give some examples?
Please watch the video and read the text in the Learn part of this Bitesize lesson.
Then, on their whiteboard, they can write down all the adverbs they can spot on the sheet below. Can they choose three and put them into sentences?
Now can they explain what an adverb does? (It gives you more information about a verb, how something is being done).
