Subtracting 10
Get your spider back out!
Recap adding ten by moving one place down a 100 square and discuss how the ones digit never changes only the tens digit.
Repeat the same process as yesterday for subtracting 10; point to a number and using the spider move one place UP the 100 square. Repeat many times and discuss how once again the ones digit still stays the same.
Answer the questions on pg33 of pupil maths books about subtracting then have a go at the subtracting 10s activity on espresso.
