Don’t burst your bubble

Adult has an instrument or claps hands if they think a bubble has burst.

The child pretends to blow up a bubble around themselves and turns around with arms stretched to make sure they are not touching anything or anyone. When the adult says go the child moves around in different ways making sure they keep their distance from others or objects. If the adult thinks a bubble has burst they bang instrument or clap hands to make everyone freeze. The adult says whose bubble has burst and that person sits out the next turn while their bubble blows up again. You could play this as a musical game.

Objective: To develop an understanding of social distancing in a fun way. To develop the skill of stopping suddenly on cue.
