SATs and learning games

2024 SATS revision guides

 

Packs of five CGP revision guides were given out to each Year 6 pupil on 9th February.  The children have been shown how they can work, mostly independently, through the ten minute tests at home and in school.  I would recommend around half an hour of study each evening but parents should be the judge of this, balancing the well-being of their child.  Answers to the ten minute tests are in the back of each book and should be marked preferably alongside an adult.  Children can use the Maths and English revision guides as reference books to look up topics that they are unsure of.  I'd particularly encourage children to tell me about these areas so I can help to clear up any misunderstandings they may have in class.  All 5 books should 'live' in the pupils' bags so they can be used at home and in school each day.
