Now please can you get a selection of foodstuffs out of the cupboard and sort them into piles of things we can eat lots of and things we should only have sometimes and why that might be.
Over the next week, I would like your child to keep a simple food journal of what they have eaten in the week. They could draw what they have eaten and try to label some foods too (this will be part of their literacy).
