Please read my diary below and look for:
adjectives and write them on your whiteboard.
Wednesday 3rd June 2020
On Wednesday the weather became a lot cooler and we even had some refreshing rain. In the morning I sat at my ancient wooden desk where I wrote some long emails and read some great diaries that my lovely pupils had sent me. In the afternoon I decided to clean my house because it was very dusty. I started in the living room where I collected some enormous spiders and took them outside to find a new home. There were also a few noisy flies which were harder to catch! For dinner we had some delicious fish and chips from Shap Chippy but we had to order them first online and then wait in a long queue to collect them from outside our favourite chip shop.
Now include some adjectives to describe things in your diary entry but don't forget you can include some of these too:
- prefixes and suffixes
- commas in a list
- interesting sentences starters
- words that join sentences
- apostrophes
- an exclamation sentence
