It's Thursday! Time for some more great phonics! Ready? Let's go!
Activity 1. OK, we need to recap those sounds we've been learning. Today, why don't you choose your favourite recap activity from the previous lessons and have some fun! Here's a music link for you to use:-

Have a go at saying the sound and practise writing it on your white board. Don't forget to hold your pen properly!
Activity 3. Rebecca, please could you write the following words on paper and space them about around the room:-
chop, chin, chop, chill, much, chick, chug.
Timmy, I want you to pretend that you are a train going from station to station - don't forget to make the ch sound like a chugging train as you go around. Every time you stop at a station, you have to read the word that you find there. Good luck!
Activity 4. Rebecca, please collect up the words from Activity 3 and read them out one at a time for Timmy to write down.
Timmy you will need your white board and pen. Listen carefully to the words that are read to you and write them on your board. How many can you get right?
Activity 5. Tricky Words. It's Tricky Word time! Here is your new word for today:

Activity 6. There are lots of different types of train, Steam Trains, Electric Trains, Diesel Trains. Some of them are very famous!
You could make and decorate your own train! Have a look in your recycling. Old cardboard and yoghurt pots are great for making things! Have fun!
