Big Maths: Max 10 minutes
Fact Families: You should be very familiar with fact families now (using the same 3 number to make 2 addition and 2 subtraction calculations). Now we are going to write fact families for multiplication and division, see example below...
5 x 3 = 15
3 x 5 = 15
15 ÷ 3 = 5
15 ÷ 5 = 3
Give your child a multiplication OR a subtraction calculation and see if they can write out the fact family.
Multiplication 9: Please start learning your 3x table! You can use the 'hit the button' game and there is a fantastic song to sing along to (my children love it!). Click on the supermovers link below, feel free to look at the other songs too, my son particularly likes the football ones!
