Tuesday 2nd June 2020
On Tuesday it was unbelievably hot! By lunchtime my little plants in the polytunnel found the heat unbearable and began to wilt, so I had to carefully move them outside into the shade. After I had done my school work I went with my family to Ullswater where we had a beautiful canoe and my first swim of the year. I was full to the brim with happiness! Later in the day I was going to do the washing up but found that my helpful son had already done the dishes! That was a wonderful surprise! I find washing up to be such a joyless task.
