Y3 and Y4

Follow this link to Espresso - you'll be asked to login if you didn't already yesterday (username and password are in yesterday's English lesson.)
Select the 5th tab down under 'Literacy KS2' which is entitled 'Develop listening skills'.
This will take you to a short piece called 'Threat to Antarctic Wildlife'.
Follow the four numbered prompts.
Record notes and answers in your writing book under the title 'Threat to Antarctic wildlife'.

Select the 1st tab down under 'Literacy KS2' which is entitled 'conjunctions and clauses'.
This will take you to 'page 1' which explains what conjunctions, clauses, simple sentences, compound sentences and complex sentences are (select each one from the tabs on the right of the page). Read the descriptions carefully as you'll be quizzed on the coming pages!
