• Children experience the first Christmas

  We're so grateful to Andi from NISCU who organised an incredible, memorable experience for the children in church.  She took us all back to the start of creation and told us how everything was made by God.  Unfortunately, Adam & Eve didn't follow God's rules and so we had to wait many years for his son, Jesus, to be sent to Earth from Heaven to be the light of the world.

  The boys and girls listened to what Mary, Joseph, a shepherd and a wise man had to say about the birth of a very special little boy...

• Christmas comes early at Crosby

  It's been a magical run-up to Christmas at Crosby.  We performed Babushka, our Christmas nativity play in the village hall to a rapturous reception last week.  Click here to listen to Marta beautifully singing one of our songs.  On Friday, Freda provided a wonderful Christmas Dinner for all our many guests who joined us from the community.  The children entertained us on their recorders then had a fabulous Christmas party with a surprise guest from Santa, who brought a sack full of amazing presents.

• Christmas carol-singing at Tebay Services

  All the children sang joyfully at Tebay motorway services yesterday at our impromptu carol service.  In around 75 minutes, we raised £165.70 for the Friends of Crosby Ravensworth School.  Thanks to all who supported us.
