• Windermere Trip

  The whole school had a wonderful day at Windemere Lake on Monday 2nd July. Class 2 learnt to swim safely in open water with Swimsafe, built rafts and kayaked, while Class 1 explored the adventure playground at Brockhole then built a den and went on an exciting trip on a sailing boat. The sun shone, the water was warm and a lot of fun was had by all.

  Some of our year 5 and 6 pupils were introduced to grass track racing at a British Cycling event organised by Brough School. They learnt about bike checks and took part in slow and fast races, short sprints and longer circuits.
