Please make the letter cards or write on stones, a, e, i, o, u and another e and find a piece of wool or string. You can now do this activity outside with chalk, on your whiteboard, with paint on newspaper or whatever suits. Remind the children of the split digraphs we have been looking at. Then ask them to choose the letters cards with the string to link them and writing the missing letters, spell these words:

Think back to the Katie Morag story we read yesterday: Katie Morag Delivers the Mail. Can you remember what happened in the story? Discuss it with your parent.
I have attached some pictures from the story. Can you put them in order and tell your parent what happened in each part of the story?
Now choose your favourite part of the story and write 3 sentences about what happened. it would be great if you could include:
