Col - an Island home
Struay, where Katie Morag lives, is actually a fictional place but based on the island of Col, an island off the west coast of Scotland. Can you find it on the map below?
Now if you look on here, you will be able to find an aerial photograph of Col. This has been taken by a satellite far away in space from what we call a bird's eye perspective - straight above. You can use the zoom button to explore different parts of the island and see what features you can find.
