Guitar Club
Guitar club runs each Thursday lunch-time in class 2. All members MUST PRACTICE at home each week if they want to progress! If you'd like help tuning your guitar during the week, just bring it in to school for me to work on.

Recorder
Year 4 onwards, all children learn the recorder thanks to Carolyn Fyfe's provision of weekly sessions in school. We are very grateful to Carolyn for volunteering her expertise at such minimal cost and continuing to provide this wonderful opportunity.
Other musical opportunities
The school also has strong links with an external music teacher in the village, Mrs Linda Bainbridge, who can be contacted directly or through ourselves - a number of flutes and clarinets have been purchased by the Friends of the School for use in these lessons.
Although such lessons take place outside of school time and off school premises, opportunities will be made for children to perform in school time. Such opportunities include charity talent shows, school prize day, Christmas performances and the school fair.
