This week in literacy we are looking at different types of sentences. Can you remember what is a:

command sentence?

• it is an instruction
• it starts with a bossy verb
• it can also have an adverb in front of the bossy verb
• each command starts on a new line
• it ends with a full stop

Carefully put the baby in his cot.
