  • 🎅 A Festive Day to Remember 🎄

    Published 27/05/25

The hall was filled with festive cheer,
As families and friends all gathered near.
Freda cooked a feast so grand,
The best Christmas dinner in all the land.

The children played with recorders in hand,
Christmas songs so sweet and grand.
With Carolyn’s help, the tunes rang clear,
Spreading joy to all who came to hear.

Then came a jingle, a knock, a cheer—
    Father Christmas himself was here!
With a hearty laugh and a twinkling eye,
He brought each child a gift—oh my!

The children’s faces lit the room,
    Chasing away the winter gloom.
A day of joy, a day of delight—
    A Christmas memory, sparkling bright!

The fun rolled on with games to play,
Laughter and smiles filled the day.
As the party ended, we gave a cheer:
“Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!”
